Device for covering railway tracks in built-up areas, incorporating an effective system for filtering of noises. The invention relates to a device intended to obtain square metres which can be built upon directly for buildings for multiple uses. It consists of a succession of prefabricated gantry frames, covered on the underside by an acoustic protection and resting on low-frequency elastic supports capable of filtering the vibrations generated by passing trains. Lateral apertures permit the evacuation of transient excess pressures. The modular character of the invention means that it can be used without interfering with the rail traffic. IMAGE
