DEVICE FOR PREVENTING MALFUNCTION OF LEVER OF MOTOR-DRIVEN SPRAYER CARRIED ON BACK

PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction by providing a throttle lever for adjusting the opening of an engine throttle and a volume adjustment lever for adjusting the opening of a tank outlet for a material to be sprayed. CONSTITUTION:Before starting an engine, a throttle lever and a volume adjustment lever are located at the lowest end position in their respective guide hole for throttle lever 30 and guide hole adjustment lever 32. The first stopper 52 is located at a position for preventing the displacement of the volume adjustment lever 36 from the lowest end position to a non-lowest end position by contact with the volume adjustment lever 36. If the volume adjustment lever 36 needs to be moved from the lowest end position by mistake, the volume adjustment lever 36 is made to abut against the first stopper 52 and thereby is prevented from being moved. If the throttle lever 34 is lifted up from the lowest end position for starting the engine, the first stopper 52 moves to a position which does not prevent the displacement of the volume adjustment lever 36 as the former is interlocked with the throttle lever 34.
