PRODUCTION OF IRON-REFINED POWDER-CALCINED BLACK TILE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality tile excellent in unique aesthetic nature by calcining a mixture comprising clay and iron-refined powder made from slag produced from copper refining within a specified temperature range determined by the above blend ratio. CONSTITUTION:A mixture comprising 0-50wt.% of clay and the rest of iron- refined powder is calcined at a specified temperature for a specified time. This calcination is made at a temperature lower than the melting temperature of the objective tile but higher than the boundary temperature between the tile black-colored region and its red-colored one determined by the above blend ratio for said mixture.
