PURPOSE: To provide the method for reducing the stress of the optical cable of unfixed type OPGW which is economically designed to decrease a screening level and secure the long-period reliability of the optical fiber. ;CONSTITUTION: Vibrators (≥10HZ vibration frequency) are fitted between diameters of the composite fiber optic overhead ground wire(OPGW) and an electric wire is vibrated. The vibrators are preferably each fitted between diameters, but the vibrations of the vibrators between adjacent diameters are usable instead between short diameters or suspension diameters and when the vibrating force of the vibrators is small, ≥2 vibrators are required between long diameters. The frictional resistance between an optical cable and an aluminum pipe surrounding the optical cable is reduced by the vibrations and the optical cable comes to move.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
