PURPOSE:To manufacture a filter of superb water permeability and superb resistance to compaction, carrying a large quantity of filtered liquid even in a limited, small filtered area, by adhering amphiphatic substance to the composite membrane having organosiloxane or plasma polymeric membrane of fluorine family compound. CONSTITUTION:A plasma polymeric membrane of organosiloxane such as hexanethylene tricyclo trisiloxane and the like or of fluorine family compound such as tetrafluoromethane and the like is formed by working out high frequency on the porous filter made of porous polyethylene or the like. Next, after cleaning and drying the filter forming the said plasma polymeric membrane, the same is dipped into the albumin water solution, or the water solution of amphiphatic substance such as surface-active agent below critical micelle concentration, and the amphiphatic substance is adhered to the filter, more than 10-8g/cm2 per unit filter area to turn the filter surface hydrophilic.
