SHIRT FINISHING METHOD UTILIZING STEAM TUNNEL TYPE CLOTHES FINISHING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To improve efficiency for a shirt finishing work by passing a shirt through a steam chamber and a drying chamber while supplying hot air into the drying chamber without supplying steam into the steam chamber in the state of loading a bayonet board into the drying chamber so as to narrow the width and narrowing the width of the drying chamber. CONSTITUTION:The width of the drying chamber through which the clothes pass is narrowed down by inserting a pair of bayonet boards 25 through a pair of guiding boards 24 to both sides of the chamber, which is partitioned by a partition board 22 and a side board 23, to pass clothes in the drying chamber 2. The first valve 84 of a steam supply device 8 is closed, the steam is set from a steam supplying source 80 to a heater 20, and the shirt is finished. Since no steam is supplied to a steam chamber 1, the shirt passing through the steam chamber 1 keeps the state as it is and in the case of passing through the drying chamber 2, the shirt is vibrated by the hot air and abutted on the bayonet boards 25 so as to present ironing effects. Then, unfinished sleeves or parts under arms are efficiently finished.
