VANE BACK PRESSURE APPLYING DEVICE FOR SLIDING VANE TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction of a vane or incomplete compression at start of a vane type compressor by feeding gas from a working chamber to the back pressure chamber of the vane upon starting under such condition that the differential pressure between high and low pressure sides is low. CONSTITUTION:Upon starting of a compressor under such condition as the differential pressure between high and low pressure sides is low, a vane 4 will spring out to lower the pressure in a vane back pressure chamber 17 thus to move the valve body 30 to the stopper 32 side and to communicate between the gas supply paths 26, 27. Consequently, gas in the gas supply path 27 is fed instantaneously into the vane back pressure chamber 17 thus to assist spring- out of the vane 4. Upon gradual increase of pressure in a high pressure chamber 14, the pressure of lubricant in the oil supply path 18 will exceed over the gas pressure in the gas supply path 26 thus to seat the valve body 30 in a valve seat 29 and to feed only the lubricant stored below the high pressure chamber 14 through a oil supply path 18 into the vane back pressure chamber 17.
