VIBRATION ISOLATING AND DAMPING DEVICE FOR PASSIVELY ISOLATING VIBRATIONS BETWEEN SUPPORTING STRUCTURE AND SUPPORTED STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: To improve control in the number of translational vibrations by arranging plural isolators between a cradle and a supporting structure in a viscous isolator while keeping a mutual prescribed relation, supplying a prescribed complex impedance from each of isolators as the function of a vibration number and transmitting a control torque over the prescribed vibration range. ;CONSTITUTION: On a supporting structure 10, a Y-shaped cradle 12 is supported through plural viscous isolators 14. A reaction ring assembly is mounted through a mounting surface 13 onto the cradle 12. Each isolator 14 is provided with a bending joint 20 so that the related isolators 14 can freely and translationally move in two dimensions. Further, three pairs of isolators 14 and 14 are arranged at points A-C at the interval of 120° and the respective pairs are attached almost to be an isosceles triangle having the apexes of respective points A-C with the supporting structure 10 as a base 30. Further, each pair of isolators 14 is twisted at a prescribed angle from an azimuth axis Z and attached perpendicularly to an XY plane.
