RUBBER VULCANIZING MOLD AND FORMING METHOD FOR RUBBER SPECIMEN USING THE MOLD

PURPOSE: To obtain a vulcanizing mold for molding a vulcanized rubber having a small variation in physical properties and to obtain a method for forming a rubber specimen capable of predicting the accurate physical properties of a product using said vulcanizing mold. ;CONSTITUTION: In a rubber vulcanizing mold, a height H of at least one of a front wall 1 and a rear wall 2 opposed to each other is determined to be 0.1-0.5mm lower than a height of the other peripheral walls for controlling a rubber squeeze-out direction. In a method for forming a rubber specimen, the rubber specimen is taken out of a rubber material vulcanized and molded by this mold so that the length direction thereof is in parallel to the rubber squeeze-out direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
