PURPOSE: To supply a rated-voltage AC power supply to an apparatus from an AC power supply at a rated voltage other than the rated voltage of the apparatus when the rated voltage of the apparatus is prescribed. ;CONSTITUTION: Although the number of turns of a coil on the secondary side is made definite for a voltage transformation device main body 6, that of a coil on the primary side is made variable according to a commercial AC power supply which is to be connected from the outside. When the number of turns of the coil on the secondary side is set according to the magnitude of a voltage on the primary side, a voltage whose magnitude is always constant is induced on the secondary side irrespective of the magnitude of the voltage on the primary side.
