PURPOSE: To provide the subject compound in high efficiency. ;CONSTITUTION: A high-protein stock like soy protein isolate or denatured defatted soybeans is digested by an enzyme such as protease, amylase or plant cell wall-digesting enzyme into a muddy form. This product is then put to solid/ liquid separation to obtain a transparent liquid, which is, in turn, put to membrane separation process like ultrafiltration, dialysis or reverse osmosis, or gel filtration to separate the substances ≤1000 in molecular weight in the liquid; a medium incorporated with the substances is inoculated with yeast to carry out culture, thus producing and accumulating the objective compound in the medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
