PURPOSE: To provide a porcelain for suspension insulator and its manufacturing method in which a cap and a pin can be fixed without using sand. ;CONSTITUTION: In a porcelain 21 for suspension insulator, spiral screw parts 25 and 26 are formed on the outer surface and inner surface of a head part 24, respectively. A cap and a pin are fixed to the outside and inside of the head part 25 through an intermediate solid material. At this time, the head part 24 and the intermediate solid material are firmly fixed to each other by the irregularities of the spiral screw parts 25 and 26, and consequently, the fixation of the head part 24 to the cap and the pin is also strengthened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
