PURPOSE: To provide the subject simple and safe control agent comprising a viscous liquid having a specific viscosity and obtained by dissolving a water-soluble polymeric substance in water and useful in agricultural and horticultural fields without bringing rash syndromes to controlling workers and without giving dangerous injuries to peripheral inhabitants. ;CONSTITUTION: 100g of polyvinyl alcohol as a water-soluble polymeric substance is dissolved in 900ml of 70°C hot water and subsequently cooled to 20°C, or 20g of methyl cellulose and 0.5g of acephate are dissolved in 980ml of 70°C hot water and subsequently cooled to 20°C to prepare a viscous liquid having a viscosity of 50-2000 centipoises, thus providing the objective control agent capable of simply, safely and perfectly killing poisonous moths bringing large damages in agricultural and horticultural fields and causing rash syndromes accompanied with severe itches on agricultural workers, etc., due to the release and scattering of poisonous stinging hair.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
