PRODUCTION OF SOLIDIFYING TREATMENT AGENT OF WASTE OIL/ WASTE ACID TYPE INDUSTRIAL WASTE

PURPOSE: To shorten a treatment time by mixing coal ash and slaked lime or quick lime in a predetermined compounding ratio in a powder form in the treatment agent of heavy metal-containing industrial waste and compounding the resulting mixture with waste oil/waste acid type industrial waste in a predetermined ratio to adsorb and solidify the same. ;CONSTITUTION: 50-20wt.% of slaked lime or quick lime is mixed with 50-80wt.% of coal ash generated by burning powdered coal in a powder form or 35-15wt.% of slaked lime or quick lime and 15--5wt.% of aluminum sulfate are mixed with 50-80wt.% of coal ash in a powder form. This powder mixture is mixed with waste oil/waste acid type industrial waste such as waste generated as a byproduct in a waste oil/waste acid treatment process or tar like sulfuric acid pitch generated as a byproduct at the time of the purification of lubricant in a ratio of (0.4:1,)-(1:1). In this case, the compounding ratio to the acidic waste oil/waste acid industrial waste is altered to control pH. By this constitution, a chemical substance containing an oil component and a heavy metal is adsorbed and solidified within a short time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
