PURPOSE: To set the grounding height of a rear bumper so as to be fitted to a new safety standard and safely carry out the loading/unloading work of a variety of industrial machines, by automatically swinging the rear bumper to a waiting position, accompanied with the rearward tilt of the car body, in the loading/unloading work. ;CONSTITUTION: As for a rear bumper 7, the front parts of the left and right supporting arms 11 are pivotally installed on a fixed shaft 14 laid on the left and right brackets 13 in the rear part of a chassis frame 12, and a bumper part 9 is formed so as to be swingable between a rear-end collision protecting position (a) and a waiting position (b) at the upper rank, having the fixed shaft 14 as fulcrum. At the front edges of the left and right supporting arms 11, the first stopper 15 is installed so as to contact the undersurface of the chassis frame 12, and at the left and right edge parts of the bumper part 9, the second stopper 16 is installed so as to contact the upper surface of the grounded leg 17 at the lower edge of a decoration plate 8, and the rear bumper 7 is received at the rear-end collision protecting position (a) by the stoppers 15 and 16, and the downward swing form the rear-end collision protecting position (a) is regulated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
