PURPOSE: To obtain a jig enabling collection of a specimen in a full length at the original position without being subjected to an external force such as a shearing force. ;CONSTITUTION: A jig A for collecting a specimen for measurement of the strength of a soil pile is constructed by fitting an inner pipe 4 removably inside an outer pipe 1 and also by providing a silicon sealant 6 obstructing invasion of soil between the inner peripheral surface of the outer pipe 1 and the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 4, on the one end side in the direction of the pipe axis thereof. After the soil is filled up in an excavation hole for the soil pile, the jig A for collecting the specimen for measurement of the strength is inserted into the inner pipe 4 and the soil is made to flow into the inner pipe 4. After the soil is cured for a prescribed period, only the inner pipe 4 is drawn out and separated from the outer pipe 1, and a specimen inside the inner pipe is taken out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
