FEEDING METHOD FOR COARSE GRANULAR DUST IN COKE DRY EXTINGUISHING EQUIPMENT TO COOLER AND UTENSILS THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To provide the title feeding method so designed that one end of a short tube is inserted into the inlet side of a cooler for coarse granular dust collected in a coke dry extinguishing equipment and the other end is projected from a panel board, and coarse granular dust is stacked on the board and cooled, thereby mitigating the heat load on the board and preventing its cracking. ;CONSTITUTION: One end of a short tube 21 having an outer diameter engageable with the inner diameter of a cooling tube 11 and provided with a flange 22 on the outer periphery at an intermediate point is inserted into the inlet side of the cooling tube 11 of a cooler 10 for coarse granular dust collected in a coke dry extinguishing equipment, and the other end is projected from a panel board 12. The coarse granular dust 13 collected is then fed by stacking to a specified thickness on the panel board 12 on the inlet side; thereby, providing a self-lining with such dust 13 on the panel board 12 and protecting a welded part from high-temperature heat, leading to mitigation of the heat load on the panel board on the inlet side of the cooler for the above dust collected and to preventing the board 12, etc., from cracking and wear.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
