PURPOSE: To simplify the quatification method for ignition loss component in volatile components in analyzing cement mixing stuffs by melting and making it into glass beads. ;CONSTITUTION: In conventional ignition loss component correction, the stuffs are tentatively burned and the ignition loss amount is obtained from the weight reduction after the burning. In the present method, the weighing process before and after the tentative burning is avoided. The ignition loss component CO2 included in the stuffs as CaCO3 is calculated from the amount of CaO clarified by the analysis of the glass beads produced from the stuffs and the CO2 amount in the stuffs is thus obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
