MANUFACTURE OF FLEXIBLE JOINT FOR DUCT, AND FLEXIBLE JOINT FOR DUCT AND JOINT PIECE FOR DUCT

PURPOSE: To realize a beautiful finish by a method wherein a flange part is formed in a flexible joint member for duct, a corner piece and a joint piece are fixed, and then, a doubling canvas part is fixed. ;CONSTITUTION: A flexible joint member for duct 2 having a pair of flange members 4 which are fixed on a belt-shaped canvas 5 is formed in a rectangular cylinder where both ends are doubled at a position except for corner parts, and a flange part 14 is formed on the flange member 4 at both of the ends. Next, a corner piece 17 is fixed by caulking to a corner part of the flange part 14, and then, a joint piece 19 is fixed by caulking to a doubling flange part 14. After that, a doubling canvas 5 part is closed by a staple 26 and fixed with an adhesive tape 27. By this, the process and fixation of the flexible joint for duct can be done easily and in addition, a beautiful finishing can be realized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
