PURPOSE: To provide an electric plug housing by which an electric contact is smoothly guided into a contact chamber of the plug housing to be slid therein. CONSTITUTION: An electric plug housing comprises an auxiliary detector of a bottleneck part 17 having a circular section, installed ahead in the inserting direction of an electric contact 1, and having an approach slant face 1b, and a bottleneck part 18 having a circular section, having an approach slant face 19, and installed at the back in the inserting direction of the electric contact, in a sealed chamber 10.
