PURPOSE: To prevent VDT syndromes by adherently covering a VDT face plate with a colored and visible light transparent film body, and by grounding this, so as to cut waves from the electrode. ;CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave shield film body 1, which is molded to fit along the outer line of a face plate 2 of a Visual Display Terminal VDT 3, and the surface of which is treated so that it can be easily attached to or detached from the plate 2, is made to adherently cover the plate 2, and grounded 5. The waves from the electrode of the plate 2 are shielded, and static electricity charged on the plate 2 is discharged thereby.
