摘要

PURPOSE: To accurately monitor and adjust the color toner developing system of an electrophotogrtaphic device by calculating the concentration of material based on a corresponding diffusion signal. ;CONSTITUTION: This electrophotographic device is provided with a concentration meter measuring the concentration of material toner 95 on a base plate by detecting and analyzing only a single diffusion electromagnetic energy signal 98 which is reflected from the concentration of the toner 95 on the base plate. The device performs correction to an environmental difference and the difference of an individual device by using the high concentration of the material. By performing the correction further, the device is calibrated so as to decide relation between the diffusion signal and the concentration of the material. This relation is calculated by sampling the clean base plate and the low concentration of the material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
