FORK EXPANSION MECHANISM FOR USE IN TRANSFER DEVICE OF INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE

PURPOSE: To enlarge the width of a fork within a limited space as much as possible and to reduce the height for the transfer of the fork as much as possible by disposing a motor in a space region beneath the base, and utilizing a wrapping connector driving mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: An electric motor 18 equipped with a reduction gear is installed near a base 9 in a space region beneath the base 9 and a chain 24 is wound to a sprocket on the base 9 and one end of the chain 24 is connected to a middle fork 12 in such a manner that the chain 24 is moved by the motor 18 and the other end of the chain is also connected to the middle fork 12. The chains 27, 28 are wound to the sprocket on the middle fork 12 and the chain 27 is connected at one end to the base 9 and connected to an upper fork 15 at the other end and the chain 28 is connected at one end to the base 9 and connected at the other end to the upper fork 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
