GEAR CUTTING METHOD FOR SPIRAL BEVEL GEAR AND TOOTH FLANK CORRECTING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: To provide nearly ideal tooth bearing by using a quasi-virtual crown gear which is a spiral bevel gear having a pitch conical angle slightly smaller than 90° and has a conical tooth flank as a gear cutting tool gear. ;CONSTITUTION: A quasi-virtual crown gear N which is a spiral bevel gear having the pitch conical angle θ slightly smaller than 90° and has a conical tooth flank is used as a gear cutting tool gear X. Tooth flanks at the addendum section and dedendum section are much cut, or the tooth flanks at the addendum section and dedendum section can be corrected, and tooth bearing can be obtained near the center of the tooth flank after all. Nearly ideal tooth bearing can be obtained, gear cutting or gear flank can be corrected by merely changing machine setting, and workability can be improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
