PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design and cut a soft tooth surface and a hard tooth surface spiral bevel gear having higher quality, and finally to achieve a large cost reduction. The present invention relates to a spherical involute tooth profile spiral bevel gear cutting method. A linear blade bit reciprocating linear cutting operation is used to cut a spiral bevel gear whose design tooth profile is a spherical involute, and the bite and planar structure are simple, and rough machining, semi-machining and finishing of the tooth surface of the bevel gear are performed. It can be used for finishing hard tooth surface after quenching by using a cemented carbide tool material, and it is easy to adjust the gear cutting, and the gear cutting cost of the spiral bevel gear can be greatly reduced.
