PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design and cut a soft bevel surface and a hard bevel surface bevel gear having higher quality, and finally to achieve a significant cost reduction. The present invention relates to a spherical involute tooth profile spiral bevel gear cutting method. A linear blade bit reciprocating linear cutting motion is used to cut a spiral bevel gear whose design tooth profile is a spherical involute, and the bite and planar structure are simple, and rough machining, semi-machining and finishing of the bevel gear tooth surface are performed. It is used for finishing hard tooth surface after quenching by using a cemented carbide tool material, and the gear cutting adjustment is easy, and the gear cutting cost of the spiral bevel gear can be greatly reduced.
