JIG FOR INSERTING/REMOVING FUEL-ROD TO/FROM SUPPORTING GRID AND INSERTING/REMOVING METHOD OF FUEL-ROD USING THE JIG

PURPOSE:To perform the work with a machine in a short time so that the exposure of a worker is decreased by a large extent by using the jig having the new constitution when a fuel rod is inserted into or pulled out of a supporting grid under the state wherein the elastic projection of the cell of the supporting grid is pushed. CONSTITUTION:A deformed part 2, which is provided at a specified place, is arbitrarily pushed in and taken out of a rod-shaped body 1 in a jig. The jig is inserted from a slit groove 8 located in an arbitrary side wall 9 of a supporting grid cell 7 to another slit 8 so as to pass the vicinity of an elastic projection 10. The elastic projection 10 is pushed by protruding the deformed part 2, and the inner space of the cell 7 is expanded. Thus, the fuel rod is inserted into and removed out of the supporting grid without damaging the fuel rod.
