METHOD FOR RETAINING FRESHNESS OF UNRIPE UME AND GUSSET BAG FOR RETAINING FRESHNESS

PURPOSE: To remarkably prolong the period of retaining freshness of unripe UME (plumb) by sealing the unripe UME and an ethylene remover in a specific pouch, hermetically sealing the pouch and preserving the unripe UME in the pouch at ordinary temperature. ;CONSTITUTION: For example, a folded part 1 of gusset bag composed of the folded part 1 and a drum part 2 is constructed from a sheet prepared by laminating polymethylpentene on a nonwoven fabric heat-sealable at a low temperature to provide a gusset bag having 10000-100000co/24hr.atm oxygen permeability per pouch at 23°C. Unripe UME in an amount of 10kg and an ethylene remover are sealed in the pouch, hermetically sealed and preserved at ordinary temperature to retain the objective freshness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
