PURPOSE:To provide the program design statement preparation supporting device which can easily verify a program design statement and can improve production efficiency for software development. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a program design statement edition part 7 to prepare/edit a program design statement 6 while successively accepting inputs from a man/machine interface 1 in an interactive form, document file 8 to preserve the prepared program design statement 6, description rule 10 registering a description rule 10a and a translation rule 10b for analyzing the program design statement 6, program design statement analysis part 11 to analyze the designated program design statement 6 from the inside of the document file 8 based on the description rule 10, program design statement execution part 13 to execute the simulation of the analyzed program statement 6, and executed result preservation file 14 to preserve the executed result of the simulation.
