TERMINATING RESISTOR CIRCUIT AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING/ DETACHING TERMINATING RESISTOR

PURPOSE: To provide the terminating resistor circuit, which can stably transmit signals between SCSI devices and does not consume any excess power at the time of a bus free state, and the maintenance free for custody or attachment/ detachment. ;CONSTITUTION: A regulator 5 is connected between a power supply line 4a and terminals 6a, 7a of first and second terminating resistors 6, 7, and other terminals 6b, 7b of the first and second terminating resistors 6, 7 are respectively connected to first and second signal lines 4b, 4c. Then, the other terminals 6b, 7b of the first and second terminating resistors 6, 7 are connected by a third terminating resistor 8. Further, a bidirectional switching element 11 is provided respectively between the other terminal 6b of the terminating resistor 6 and the signal line 4b and between the other terminal 7b of the terminating resistor 7 and the signal line 4c, and the terminating resistors 6, 7 and 8 are attached and detached by external switch signals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
