MANUFACTURE OF PARE EARTH-COBALT 1-5 PERMANENT MAGNET ALLOY

摘要

PURPOSE:To offer a rare earth-cobalt 1-5 magnet alloy excellent in magnetic properties and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:The above method is featured for manufacturing a rare earth- cobalt 1-5 magnet alloy by mixing raw material powder having a compsn. contg., by weight, 21 to 36% Pr and 3 to 9% as well as 30 to 39% Pr+Sm and the balance Co and inevitable impurities with 0.05 to 1% of the powder of the hydrides of at least one kind among Zr, Ti, Hf and Nb, which is pulverized; the obtd. mixed powder is made into green component by press compacting; and this green compact is sintered in the atmosphere of an inert gas.
