METHOD FOR FORMING GROUP BASE FOR EDITING LARGE AMOUNT OF STORED DOCUMENTS

PURPOSE: To execute document group basing edition to be operated within time proportional to the number of documents in objective aggregation. CONSTITUTION: A distribution/group system includes a step for preparing the initial array of aggregation by using an off-line calculation method e.g. defining the summary of the initial array of the aggregation in order to use an interactive form and providing the additional array of the aggregation. Since the off-line preparation step of the initial array of the aggregation is non-time dependent, the initial array can be accurately prepared. The step for defining the summary includes the definition of a summary to be displayed without being scrolled on a CRT by a user. The step for providing the additional array includes the average integrative grouping of omitted groups, the merging of nonnonnected document groups, the detection of the center, specification to the nearest part, and other sophisticated method.
