DEVICE TO LIMIT SUPPLY WATER TO ONCE-THOUGH TYPE WASTE HEAT BOILER

PURPOSE: To prevent a damage to a heat receiving water tube by controlling the volume of supply water, to a heat receiving tube to a proper level. ;CONSTITUTION: A controller 18 receives detection signals from detection ends H, M, L for the upper, middle and lower water levels in a water level control cylinder 17 and measures the level ascending times and level descending times of the water levels among respective detection ends. The controller 18 determines the volume of supply water per unit time in order to make those measured times as long as possible. This volume of supply water is determined as the volume of supply water at proper water levels that are determined based on the thermal load of a waste heat recovery boiler, and it is outputted as control signal to a supply water pump provided in a supply water line 5. The supply water pump P that receives this control signal changes its rotational speed continuously and the volume of supply water per unit time that is indicated by the controller 18 is supplied into a heat receiving water tube 3. With this arrangement the volume of supply water at the time of operation of a valve 6 that is ON is properly regulated, and it is possible to prevent damage to the heat receiving water tube 3 caused by overheating.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
