PURPOSE: To provide the above releasing method for a matrix from a cast simply in a short time, the manufacturing method for casts and a MATRIX releasing sheet. ;CONSTITUTION: A casting material is filled until wax patterns 11 and 12 disposed in a vessel 16 are hidden, and a first cast section 17 is manufactured, and a cast releasing sheet 18 composed of ceramic fiber is disposed on the first cast section 17 in a manner of not being brought into contact with wax patterns 11 and 12. A cast material is filled to the upper end of the casting vessel 16 above the sheet 18 to manufacture a second cast section 19. The cast material is cured and then heated to eliminate the wax patterns 11 and 12 and manufacture the matrix. A glass molten body is cast in the cast and cured completely, when the cast is released from the casting vessel 16.
