TRAILING ARM TYPE DOUBLE WISHBONE SUSPENSION DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide the structure of a suspension device capable of absorbing relative toe direction displacement between a trailing arm and an axle carrier without adding separate parts or enlarging the vertical width of the trailing arm to provide it with flexibility. ;CONSTITUTION: An axle carrier 1 is supported in the vehicle width direction and body longitudinal direction by links 2, 3, 4 and an arm 6 so as to bound and rebound under the cushioning of a strut 5. The toe angle change during this act ion can be absorbed by bushes 8, 9 since the bushes 8, 9 can be oscillated in the toe direction between the axle carrier 1 and the trailing arm 6 and also at least one bush 8 can be relatively displaced in the vehicle width direction between the axle carrier 1 and the trailing arm 6.
