SNAKE CONTROLLING AGENT AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SNAKE

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fast-acting snake controlling agent, containing a pyrethroid-based compound as an active ingredient and having high effects. CONSTITUTION:The objective snake controlling agent is obtained by including a pyrethroid-based compound, preferably a compound containing the cyclopentenolone skeleton, e.g. one or more of 2-methyl-4-oxo-3-(2-propynyl) cyclopent-2-enyl chrysanthemate and 2-methyl-4-oxo-3-(2-propenyl)cyclopent-2-enyl 2,2,3,3-tetramethylcyclopropanecarboxylate as an active ingredient. The formulation form of this snake controlling agent is preferably an aerosol having a spraying device so as to provide =2m spray longitudinal coverage. The active ingredient is preferably contained in an amount of 0.01-20wt.%. A synergistic agent such as bis-(2,3,3,3-tetrachloropropyl) ether or isobornyl thiocyanoacetate, as necessary, can be added to this controlling agent.
