PULVERIZED COAL BURNER TO COPE WITH LARGE RANGE OF COMBUSTION LOAD

PURPOSE: To provide a pulverized coal burner capable of coping with a large range of combustion load by holding an excellent state of flame even in the range where A/C value increases with the quantity of burning pulverized coal becoming smaller. ;CONSTITUTION: In the burner main body 3 a cyclone 7 that has an outer shape to form a flow channel 6 between itself and the circumferential wall of the burner main body 3 is provided along the axial line of the burner main body 3, and to the rear end of the cyclone 7 a pulverized coal pipe 4 is connected, and a distribution valve 8 that is capable of changing its degree of opening according to the A/C value of the pulverized coal and air mixture is provided in the pulverized coal pipe 4 in the burner main body 3. When the A/C value of the pulverized coal and air mixture that is transported to the burner main body 3 is large, the degree of opening of the distribution valve 8 is controlled low to lead the pulverized coal and air mixture into the cyclone 7, and after the A/C value of the pulverized coal and air mixture in the cyclone 7 is reduced, the pulverized coal and air mixture is sent to the end section of the pulverized coal burner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
