The invention relates to derivatives of 10,11,12,13-tetrahydro-desmycosin, CHEM wherein R stands for O or (OC2H5)2, R1 stands for Si(CH3)3 or H, R2 stands for H, OH, I or OSO2CH3, which are novel semisynthetic antibiotics of the tylosin series, possessing antibacterial activity, to their pharmaceutically acceptable salts with inorganic or organic acids, to processes for their preparation and to their use in obtaining pharmaceutical preparations.
