PURPOSE: To obtain the subject grout excellent in water stop, applicability and caking strengths by adding water glass to a suspension of fine difficultly water-soluble calcium hydroxide particles to dissolve most of the calcium hydroxide. ;CONSTITUTION: Water glass is added to a suspension containing about 2.5-25kg, per m3 of the grout, fine difficultly water-soluble calcium hydroxide particles of a mean particle diameter of about 8μm or below to dissolve most of the calcium hydroxide to obtain a penetrative chemical grout used in chemical grouting for water-permeable ground such as sandy soil. This grout is very excellent in water stop performance, applicability, caking strength, etc., as compared with the conventional inorganic solution-type chemical grouts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
