REFORMING METHOD FOR EXISTING PUSHER TYPE HEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE: To shorten a term of works by a method wherein a side wall, occupying most of a furnace body, a preheat zone, and a heating zone are used, dismantling and removal of parts in a furnace and input of new parts are carried out by means of a moving truck temporarily built in a furnace. ;CONSTITUTION: Charge parts, such as a entry rail 14, a skid 9a on the charge side, a charge front plate 17, and a part of stays 8, a furnace floor metal, such as a piping 15, e.g. gas pipes, and dismantled a ceiling part 4c of a heat uniforming zone 3, such as the pipings of a ceiling part, ceiling metals, and roof burners 7, are for removal. Rails 20 are installed along two side walls 4b in a furnace and two gantry moving trucks 21 each having a lifting device 22, such as a chain block, are installed on the rails 20. By using the moving trucks 21, the rest of a skid rail 9 is dismantled to convey it to the outside of a furnace. A cooling pump 10 cut above a furnace floor refractory 4a and in a position in the vicinity of the side wall 4b is conveyed to the outside of a furnace.
