PURPOSE: To provide the title device capable of scraping up not only the precipitate in treated water settled to the bottom part of a sedimentation basin but also the suspended matter in treated water without requiring a large place. ;CONSTITUTION: Rakes 38 are attached to the buckets 20 connected to the endless chain 18 provided so as to be driven along the bottom of a sedimentation basin 12 to move upwardly from the basin 12 and a plate-shaped screen 42 is arranged on the rising side of the endless chain 18 in parallel to the chain 18 and the suspended matter 44 in treated water bonded to the screen 42 is scraped up by the rakes 38 at the rising time of the buckets 20 after the scraping-up of the precipitate 16 on the bottom of the basin 12. By this constitution, the precipitate 16 and the suspended matter 44 can be simultaneously scraped up by one precipitate scraping-up device 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
