METHOD FOR CONFIRMING STERILIZED EFFECT IN ASEPTIC CHAMBER

PURPOSE: To accurately judge the sterilized state even in the case of spraying a sterilizing liquid into an aseptic chamber and washing with water by using a biological indicator produced by supporting an indicator microorganisms on a membrane filter. ;CONSTITUTION: A biological indicator produced by supporting an indicator microorganisms on a membrane filter is placed in a chamber. A sterilizing liquid is sprayed into the chamber to effect the sterilization of the chamber, the biological indicator is taken out of the chamber and the presence of the surviving index microorganisms is determined. The index microorganism is preferably a mold in the case of using a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid as the sterilizing liquid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
