PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant having excellent flame retardance, comprising a bromine atom-containing polyurethane resin oligomer and an inorganic flame retardant as essential components and a synthetic leather by blending a polyurethane resin with the flame-retardant and forming a film by a wet method. CONSTITUTION:A flame-retardant comprising (A) a bromine atom-containing polyurethane resin oligomer, preferably an oligomer obtained by reacting a compound [e.g. adduct of 2,2-bis(4-dihydroxy-2,2',5,5'-tetrabromophenyl)propane with 2mol ethylene oxide] containing two active hydrogens and bromine atom with a diisocyanate in a ratio of equivalent of active hydrogen and isocyanate group of 1:0.3-1:1.2, having 1,000-100,000, especially 30,000-70,000 number-average molecular weight and (B) an inorganic flame retardant (preferably antimony pentoxide) in a ratio of 30/70-70/30 (weight ratio of solid content). A polyurethane resin is blended with the flame-retardant and formed into a film by a wet method to give synthetic leather. A multilayer synthetic leather sheet for interior automotive trim having the synthetic leather layer.
