DAMPPROOF JUDGING METHOD FOR NONLINEARLY VOLTAGE DEPENDENT RESISTOR, AND NONLINEARLY VOLTAGE DEPENDENT RESISTOR

PURPOSE: To provide a method with which the dampproof property of a nonlinearly voltage dependent resistor can be judged easily in a short period, and also to provide a nonlinearly voltage dependent resistor, having excellent dampproof property, in which the above-mentioned method is utilized. ;CONSTITUTION: A nonlinearly voltage dependent resistor, which is mainly composed of zinc oxide, is divided at least into two or more parts, and at least one of the divided nonlinearly voltage dependent resistor is dipped into a fluorescent penetrant examination fluid. This sample is divided into two parts, a black light is made to irradiate on the new surface formed by the above-mentioned division which is not come in contact with the fluorescent examination fluid, the dampproof property of the surface is discriminated by observing the light- emitting part by the aforesaid irradiation, and a nonlinearly voltage dependent resistor is obtained on the basis of the result of the above-mentioned judgement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
