摘要

PURPOSE: To restrain scattering of carbonaceous material at the time of charging raw material by using a gravitational dropping method. ;CONSTITUTION: In this raw material charging method, flow of the carbonaceous material is dropped so as to join with flow of iron ore while the flow of the carbonaceous material reaches to the molten slag 1 surface, thus to charge iron ore and carbonaceous material. In one of raw material charging chutes, a partition wall forming two flow passages is arranged and an iron ore chute and a carbonaceous chute are connected to these two flow passages, respectively. The other raw material charging chute has the constitution of double pipe shape connecting the iron ore chute at the upper part and also inserting the carbonaceous material chute near the center so as to charge the iron ore at outside of the carbonaceous material chute. Through such a raw material charging method or the raw material charging chute, since the flow B of the carbonaceous material and the flow A of the iron ore are joined, the carbonaceous material having bad wettability to the slag 11 is caught by the iron ore having high sp. gr. and dipped into the slag. Further, grains of the carbonaceous material are put in the iron ore grain flow or surrounded in this flow and charged.
