PESTICIDE APPLICATION STRUCTURE IN RIDING RICE TRANSPLANTER

PURPOSE: To provide the subject specific structure designed to prevent excessive pesticide application by ensuring a pesticide not to be applied on such a field portion as to make no seedling planting by stopping specific planting arm(s) among those for the total planting rows. ;CONSTITUTION: Planting arms 2 for the total planting rows are equipped with clutch mechanisms for the actuation and stopping of the respective arms 2 for specific plural rows adjacent to each other among the total planting rows for a riding rice transplanter. The above planting arms 2 are equipped with pesticide applicators 24 for the planting range for said arms 2, where the equipped number are same as that of the clutch mechanisms, and the rotary mechanical power of each specific planting arm 2 is transmitted to the corresponding applicator 24 through a transmission mechanism 19. Thereby, when a specific planting arm, e.g. that for the two rows at the left of a six-row planting type riding rice transplanter is stopped, only the corresponding applicator 24 is stopped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
