FACSIMILE STORE AND FORWARD SWITCHING DEVICE AND FACSIMILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE:To prevent a break of an output text by comparing the number of receivable pages reported from a facsimile terminal with the number of pages to be transmitted and preventing transmission of this output text in the case of the number of receivable pages smaller than the predetermined number of pages to be transmitted. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile store and forward switching device FS 11 and a facsimile terminal 12 are connected through a public line network 13. A number TP of pages to be transmitted and a number RP of receivable pages can be reported from the FS 11 and the facsimile terminal 12 to each other respectively. A system controller 24 compares the number RP of receivable pages and the number TP of pages to be transmitted with each other as the page number comparing means. If the number TP of pages to be transmitted is larger than the number RP of receivable pages as the comparison result of the system controller 24, a facsimile controller 23 stops text transmission as the transmission stop means.
