PURPOSE: To provide the method for manufacturing an α+β type titanium allay subjected to powder metallurgy and excellent in fatigue strength as well as having sufficient ductility without remarkably increasing the manufacturing cost. ;CONSTITUTION: A compact obtd. by mixing Ti powder and alloy elemental powder and executing pressurizing or a compact obtd. by pressurizing α+β type titanium al lay powder is held under heating to the β transformation point or above to the β transformation point +400°C or below for 30min to 8hr, is cooled to the β transformation point -200°C or below at a cooling rate of 0.01 to 0.5°C per second and is furthermore subjected to HIP treatment at the β transformation point -200°C or above to the β transformation point -20°C or below.
