TOP RAIL FITTING METHOD FOR HANDRAIL PILLAR BASE FIXTURE FOR WOODEN BALCONY OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for fitting handrail pillar base fixture, ensuring an easy and quick execution work, and good appearance. ;CONSTITUTION: A top rail joint fixture group is fixed to the upper end of a structure 1 such as a wooden balcony, and base plates 12 are fixed to a handrail pillar erection section at the upper end of the structure 1 by using an adhesive 13. A group of the base plates 12 is marked at the side of the structure 1, a group of handrail pillar base fixtures 9 is placed on the top rail 7, and the positions of screw setting holes symmetrical with the group of the fixtures 9 are marked on the top rail 7. Thereafter, the positions are drilled to form screw holes 14 through a top rail 7, a group of the base plates 12 and the upper end of the structure 1. Furthermore, set screws 11 are inserted down through the holes 14, passing the groups of the fixtures 9 and base plates 12, and the structure 1, and then tightened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
