EDGE FRAME TYPE SLIP-OFF STOP HOLDING STRUCTURE OF FACE MATERIAL IN CURTAIN WALL

PURPOSE: To improve integral feeling with a face material of an edge frame material holding the end section of the face material. ;CONSTITUTION: In a curtain wall, in which either one or both of the upper and lower end sections and left and right end sections of a face material are engaged and held to approximately U-shaped cross sectional edge frame members 21, 22 protruding to a face material supporter in response to either one or both of said end sections on the outdoor side face of the face material supporter formed onto the external surface of a building, the side end faces of end sections held to the edge frame members 21, 22 of the face material are formed in inclined faces 23, 24 inclined near the center of the face material in the outdoor direction. The slipping-off of the end sections of the face material is prevented under the state, in which the U shaped outdoor side plates of the edge frame members 21, 22 are formed in the same surfaces as the outdoor plate surfaces of the face material and the edge frame members 21, 22 are abutted against the inclined side end faces of the face material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
